Sunday, Funday

Mr. Fantastic and I headed out for a Sunday, Funday adventure. We had our hiking gear, a cooler full of lunch and camp chairs for relaxing after our hike.

We had found a new hike in an area unexplored by us just east and north of home. After a quick trip on the interstate then 30 miles of dirt roads and increasingly beautiful scenery we arrived at our destination. We were not disappointed!

Up and up we went on this oddly crisp August morning. The hike was steep but worth every step for the sweeping views, quiet and reconnecting to nature and each other.
