I joined eleven strong women this past January to begin the Ayurvedic Woman Program. We meet once a month and are learning how to apply the principles of Ayurveda to our lives so we can step into our power and live our best lives.
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is the sister science to yoga and has been practiced for over 5,000 years – and is considered by many to be the oldest healing science. Ayurvedic in Sanskrit means “the science of life”. The goals of Ayurveda are to keep the body in a state of health and free from dis-ease and to show us how to use health as part of the path to enlightenment.
Unlike the Western approach to health Ayurveda considers the individual and their unique combination of physical, mental and emotional characteristics. Keeping your unique constitution in balance through healthy habits.
